Abstract
Recombinant DNA molecules and constructs useful for modulating gene expression in plants, including molecules derived from Medicago truncatula sequences, are provided. plants, plant cells, plant parts, and seeds comprising recombinant DNA molecules operably linked to heterologous transcribable DNA molecules are further provided, as are methods of their use.
Claims14
A recombinant DNA molecule comprising a DNA sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- a) a DNA sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:3;
- and
- b) a fragment comprising at least 200 contiguous nucleotides of SEQ ID NO:3, wherein the fragment has gene-regulatory activity;
- wherein said DNA sequence is operably linked to a heterologous transcribable DNA molecule.
A transgenic plant cell comprising a recombinant DNA molecule comprising a DNA sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- a) a DNA sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:3;
- and
- b) a fragment comprising at least 200 contiguous nucleotides of SEQ ID NO:3, wherein the fragment has gene-regulatory activity;
- wherein said DNA sequence is operably linked to a heterologous transcribable DNA molecule.
A transgenic plant, or part thereof, comprising a recombinant DNA molecule comprising a DNA sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- a) a DNA sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:3;
- and
- b) a fragment comprising at least 200 contiguous nucleotides of SEQ ID NO:3, wherein the fragment has gene-regulatory activity;
- wherein said DNA sequence is operably linked to a heterologous transcribable DNA molecule.
