The present invention provides novel compounds and pharmaceutical compositions thereof and methods of using the same for treating cardiovascular diseases.

A compound of formula I, II, or III:
- wherein:
- R1 is absent;
- alternatively, R1 is selected from:
- (CH2)2O, (CH2)2NH, (CH2)3O, (CH2)3NH, CH2C(═O)O, and CH2C(═O)NH;
- and,
- R2 is selected from:
- (CH2)2O, (CH2)2NH, (CH2)3O, (CH2)3NH, CH2C(═O)O, CH2C(═O)NH, CH2OC(═O)O, CH2OC(═O)NH, CH2NHC(═O)O, and CH2NHC(═O)NH;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
