Side wall assembly for a modular shipping container

A side wall assembly for a modular shipping container, the modular shipping container including a base, the side wall assembly comprising:

• a tube hinge;
• a first hinge pin assembly including a first hinge pin extending therefrom, the first hinge pin configured to be received within a first end of the tube hinge;
• a second hinge pin assembly including a second hinge pin extending therefrom, the second hinge pin configured to be received within a second end of the tube hinge opposite the first end;
• the tube hinge, the first hinge pin, and the second hinge pin are disposed above the base;
• the tube hinge, the first hinge pin assembly, and the second hinge pin assembly are configured to enable the side wall to pivotally rotate with respect to the base;
• the base includes a plurality of hinge apertures;
• and
• the second hinge pin assembly is coupled to the base via a plurality of fastening elements extending through a corresponding plurality of apertures arranged within the second hinge pin assembly, and the plurality of fastening elements interact with the plurality of hinge apertures of the base.
