Abstract
A display assembly for a vehicle, the display assembly comprising: a housing; a display unit comprising a first display panel configured to display a first set of instruments and a second display panel configured to display a second set of instruments, the display unit being moveable, relative to the housing, between a first position and a second position; and a display unit controller being configured to, when the display unit is in the first position, cause the first display panel to display the first set of instruments and, when the display unit is in the second position, cause the second display panel to display the second set of instruments.
Claims24
A display assembly for a vehicle, the display assembly comprising:
- a housing;
- a display unit comprising a first display panel having provided thereon a first set of instruments and a second display panel having provided thereon a second set of instruments, the first set of instruments being positioned perpendicular relative to the second set of instruments, the display unit being moveable, relative to the housing, between a first position and a second position;
- and
- a display unit controller configured to:
- when the display unit is in the first position, cause the first display panel to display the first set of instruments and, when the display unit is in the second position, cause the second display panel to display the second set of instruments;
- receive a dynamic mode input, the dynamic mode input representing a current dynamic mode of the vehicle;
- and
- in response to the current dynamic mode being a first dynamic mode, cause the first display panel to move to the first position.
