Methods and compositions using an orthosilicate for tissue regeneration, such as to treat a disease or condition, are described, including on the skin. Also described are methods for making such compositions.
Claims15
A method for treating acne, melanoma, or basal cell carcinoma in a human or animal in need thereof, comprising administering to the human or animal a cream or ointment comprising 10% to 40% (w/w) of tetraethylorthosilicate and an oil, wherein the acne, melanoma, or basal cell carcinoma in the human or animal is effectively treated.
