A novel maize variety designated X90M123 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X90M123 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X90M123 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X90M123, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X90M123 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X90M123 and methods of using maize variety X90M123 are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X90M123, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH42KN with a second plant of variety PH2TSK, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH42KN and PH2TSK have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-124766 and PTA-124302, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X90M123 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH42KN with a second plant of variety PH2TSK, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH42KN and PH2TSK have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-124766 and PTA-124302, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X90M123 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH42KN with a second plant of variety PH2TSK, representative seed of the varieties PH42KN and PH2TSK having been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-124766 and PTA-124302, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH42KN and PH2TSK further comprises the locus conversion.
