Network nodes and methods therein for handling communications in a radio communications network

A method performed by a network node for handling communications in a radio communications network, the method comprising:

• receiving, from another network node, an RLF indication comprising a report of a radio link failure (RLF) of a user equipment (UE), said RLF indication further comprising a first indication of the cell identity of the cell the UE was connected to upon sending the RLF report;
• and
• determining, based on the first indication, whether to consider a re-establishment cell indicated in the report of the RLF indication when performing adjustments relating to handover in a cell served by the network node.

A method performed by a network node for handling communications in a radio communications network, the network node being configured to be in the radio communications network, the network node comprising;

• receiving, from another network node, an RLF indication comprising an indication of a result of a comparison between a cell identity of the cell the UE was connected to upon sending the RLF report and an identity of a re-establishment cell included in the RLF report;
• and
• determining, based on the indication, whether to consider the re-establishment cell indicated in the report of the RLF indication when performing adjustments relating to handover in a cell served by the network node.
