Smart power delivery system and related method

A method for delivering power from an electronic device, comprising:

• conveying power from a power source through a first circuit connected to a second electronic device via a first power delivery conduit;
• conveying power from the power source through a second circuit connected to a third electronic device via a second power delivery conduit, the first power delivery conduit being configured to deliver power to the second electronic device in parallel with the second power delivery conduit delivering power to the third electronic device;
• exchanging first information with a second electronic device via a first power delivery conduit, the first information including an indication of device power requirements of the second electronic device;
• exchanging second information with a third electronic device via a second power delivery conduit, the second information that including an indication of device power requirements of the second electronic device;
• and
• managing with a power management module (PMM) power delivery to the respective electronic devices, wherein
• based on the indication of respective device power requirements, the managing further comprising partitioning and dynamically applying the electric power on a per conduit basis across the first power delivery conduit and the second power delivery conduit, wherein
• the managing further comprises delivering power on at least one of a first-come-first-served basis, a programmed prioritization basis, a quickest time to charge basis, or an equal current partition basis.
