Abstract
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are configured to provide a first element in an interface presentable to a user through which a plurality of ephemeral media content items are accessible by the user for a selected period of time. A second element in the interface through which a plurality of non-ephemeral media content items are accessible by the user is provided.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- determining, by a computing system, levels of relevance of a plurality of ephemeral media content items associated with a plurality of content providers to a user based on ranking signals, the plurality of ephemeral media content items accessible to the user;
- determining, by the computing system, a ranked ordering of the plurality of ephemeral media content items based on the levels of relevance;
- determining, by the computing system, a ranked ordering of the plurality of content providers based on the ranked ordering of the plurality of ephemeral media content items;
- and
- providing, by the computing system, an element in an interface presentable to the user based on the ranked ordering of the plurality of content providers.
A system comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to perform:
- determining levels of relevance of a plurality of ephemeral media content items associated with a plurality of content providers to a user based on ranking signals, the plurality of ephemeral media content items accessible to the user;
- determining a ranked ordering of the plurality of ephemeral media content items based on the levels of relevance;
- determining a ranked ordering of the plurality of content providers based on the ranked ordering of the plurality of ephemeral media content items;
- and
- providing an element in an interface presentable to the user based on the ranked ordering of the plurality of content providers.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing system, cause the computing system to perform a method comprising:
- determining levels of relevance of a plurality of ephemeral media content items associated with a plurality of content providers to a user based on ranking signals, the plurality of ephemeral media content items accessible to the user;
- determining a ranked ordering of the plurality of ephemeral media content items based on the levels of relevance;
- determining a ranked ordering of the plurality of content providers based on the ranked ordering of the plurality of ephemeral media content items;
- and
- providing an element in an interface presentable to the user based on the ranked ordering of the plurality of content providers.
