Display panel

A display panel comprising:

• a substrate including a display area, the display area comprising a plurality of pixels, each of the pixels including a transmitting area;
• a first-color filter disposed on the substrate, the first-color filter comprising a first pixel portion disposed in the transmitting area of a first pixel, and a first overlap portion connected to the first pixel portion;
• a second-color filter disposed on the substrate, the second-color filter comprising a second pixel portion disposed in the transmitting area of a second pixel, and a second overlap portion connected to the second pixel portion;
• and
• a third-color filter disposed on the substrate, the third-color filter comprising a third pixel portion disposed in the transmitting area of a third pixel,
• wherein
• the first overlap portion and the second overlap portion are stacked in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the display area to form a stack structure extending in a direction between the transmitting areas of adjacent pixels of the plurality of pixels in a plan view,
• the stack structure continuously extends in the first direction along edges of two or more pixels that represent different colors and are arranged in a row in the first direction in the plan view, and
• the display panel further comprises transistors disposed on the substrate.
