Joint seal system having internal barrier and external wings

A joint seal, comprising,

• a first body of compressible foam, the first body of compressible foam having a first body bottom and a first body width;
• a second body of compressible foam, the second body of compressible foam having a second body top and a second body width;
• a barrier,
• the barrier being flexible,
• the barrier having a barrier width from a first distant end to a second distant end,
• the barrier width greater than each of the first body width and the second body width,
• the barrier contacting a first body first side and not contacting a second body first side,
• the barrier including a first wing extending beyond an edge of the first body of the compressible foam,
• the first wing turned up to adhere to the first body first side,
• the first wing having at a first distant end a first wing upper elongate appendage and a first wing lower elongate appendage,
• the first wing upper elongate appendage not contacting the first body first side
• the first wing lower elongate appendage not contacting the first body first side,
• the barrier contacting a first body second side and not contacting a second body second side,
• the barrier including a second wing extending beyond an edge of the second body of the compressible foam,
• the second wing turned up to adhere to the first body second side,
• the second wing having at a second distant end a second wing upper elongate appendage and a second wing lower elongate appendage,
• the second wing upper elongate appendage not contacting the first body second side,
• the second wing lower elongate appendage not contacting the first body second side,
• the barrier adhered to the first body of compressible foam at the first body bottom,
• the barrier adhered to the second body of compressible foam at the second body top,
• the barrier including a layer from at least one of a heat barrier, an infrared barrier, a water barrier, air barrier and a vapor barrier.
