Abstract
The present invention relates to polypeptide variants and methods for obtaining variants. The present invention also relates to polynucleotides encoding the variants; nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides; and methods of using the variants.
Claims13
A DNase variant, comprising:
- a polypeptide having at least 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:
- 1;
- wherein the polypeptide includes an amino acid substitution at position 39 of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 that is S39V or S39R;
- wherein the polypeptide has DNase activity;
- and
- wherein the polypeptide has improved stability as compared to the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:
- 1.
