Abstract
A method is disclosed for synthesizing MTW framework type zeolites via interzeolite transformation in the presence of polyethyleneimine.
Claims11
A method of synthesizing a MTW framework type zeolite, the method comprising:
- (a) preparing a reaction mixture comprising:
- (1) a FAU framework type zeolite;
- (2) polyethyleneimine (Q);
- (3) fluoride ions;
- and
- (4) water;
- and
- (b) subjecting the reaction mixture to crystallization conditions sufficient to form crystals of the MTW framework type zeolite.
