A management system for providing full scale training of a plurality of physical participants engaged in a team event, comprising:
- a plurality of self-propelling drones positioned at various locations upon a practice surface;
- a plurality of sensors either adapted to being worn by the physical participants or being located upon the practice surface;
- a control platform incorporating a first processor in communication with the sensors for tracking movement of each of the physical players and drones;
- a grid of lighting elements incorporated into the practice surface;
- the first processor and an associated database of said control platform communicating with said grid and operable to outputting a series of time elapsed commands, a sub-plurality of said lighting elements illuminating to represent an initial position of the drones;
- additional sub-pluralities of lighting elements being progressively illuminated in a time elapsed fashion to replicate movement of any of the participant or drone;
- a second processor incorporated into each of the drones, each of the second processors being in operative communication with the control platform, the second processors receiving sensor updated information as a stream of instructions for operating a powered drive chassis incorporated into each drone for traversing the drone upon the practice surface during a training iteration;
- and
- said control platform coordinating streams of instructions to the second processors for moving the drones in a synchronized and choreographed progression between start and end points so that the drones emulate a team of players opposing the physical players.
