Abstract
An aerosol generating device comprises two reservoirs, each arranged to contain a separate aerosol producing composition; means for drawing the compositions from the reservoirs to generate an aerosol for inhalation for a user, and means for mixing the compositions after they have been drawn from the reservoirs, the mixing means being arranged to allow a user to select the relative proportions of the two compounds in the aerosol.
Claims26
An electronic cigarette comprising:
- a mouthpiece portion including at least two reservoirs, each arranged to contain a separate aerosol producing composition, and a bridge for drawing the compositions from the reservoirs to generate an aerosol for inhalation for a user;
- and
- a mixing valve for selectively mixing the compositions after they have been drawn from the reservoirs, the mixing valve arranged to allow a user to select the relative proportions of the two compounds in the aerosol.
An electronic cigarette comprising:
- an elongated body extending along a longitudinal axis, the elongated body having a mouthpiece portion including at least two reservoirs, each arranged to contain a separate aerosol producing composition and each reservoir being connected to a separate heater assembly and a bridge for drawing the compositions from the reservoirs to generate an aerosol for inhalation for a user, wherein the mouthpiece portion is twistable with respect to a remainder of the elongated body, and
- a control switch embedded in the elongated body and actuated by twisting the mouthpiece portion with respect to the remainder of the elongated body for selectively controlling the heating of liquid from one or more of the reservoirs by the heater assembly, such that, when power is supplied to the heater assembly together with the selected liquid, an aerosol is generated for inhalation by a user.
An electronic cigarette comprising:
- a mouthpiece portion including at least two reservoirs, each arranged to contain a separate aerosol producing composition, and a pair of drawing valves for drawing the compositions from the reservoirs to generate an aerosol for inhalation for a user;
- and
- a mixing valve for selectively mixing the compositions after they have been drawn from the reservoirs, the mixing valve arranged to allow a user to select the relative proportions of the two compounds in the aerosol.
A mouthpiece section for an electronic cigarette comprising:
- at least two reservoirs, each arranged to contain a separate aerosol producing composition;
- wherein at least one of the reservoirs comprises a flavorant;
- a bridge for drawing the compositions from the reservoirs to generate an aerosol for inhalation for a user, and
- a mixing valve for selectively mixing the compositions after they have been drawn from the reservoirs, the mixing valve being arranged to allow a user to select the relative proportions of the two compounds in the aerosol.
A mouthpiece section for an electronic cigarette comprising:
- at least two reservoirs, each arranged to contain a separate aerosol producing composition;
- wherein at least one of the reservoirs comprises a flavorant;
- a pair of drawing valves for drawing the compositions from the reservoirs to generate an aerosol for inhalation for a user, and a mixing valve for selectively mixing the compositions after they have been drawn from the reservoirs, the mixing valve being arranged to allow a user to select the relative proportions of the two compounds in the aerosol.
A method for using an electronic cigarette including an elongated body extending along a longitudinal axis and having a mouthpiece portion, the method comprising:
- operating a control switch to individually power respective heating elements of separate heater assemblies, the mouthpiece portion including at least two reservoirs, each arranged to contain a separate aerosol producing composition and each reservoir being connected to one of the separate heater assemblies and a bridge for drawing the compositions from the reservoirs to generate an aerosol for inhalation for a user,
- wherein the step of operating the control switch includes twisting the mouthpiece portion with respect to a remainder of the elongated body for selectively controlling the heating of liquid from one or more of the reservoirs by the heater assembly, such that, when power is supplied to the heater assembly together with the selected liquid, an aerosol is generated for inhalation by a user.
