Abstract
A method of operating an emanation system is disclosed that includes the step of providing a dispensing device containing an air treatment material and a substrate. The method further includes the steps of aligning a nozzle of the dispensing device with the substrate and actuating the dispensing device to spray an amount of the air treatment material onto at least a portion of the substrate.
Claims20
A method of operating an emanation system, comprising the steps of:
- attaching a substrate to a surface, the substrate including a first substrate and a secondary substrate attached to the first substrate;
- selecting an air treatment material including a fragrance having a first efficacy time period and an active ingredient having a second efficacy time period;
- aligning a nozzle of a dispensing device containing the air treatment material with the substrate;
- and
- actuating the dispensing device to spray an amount of the air treatment material onto at least a portion of the substrate,
- wherein the second efficacy time period is longer than the first efficacy time period, and
- wherein the secondary substrate is positioned to catch run-off from the amount of air treatment material sprayed onto the substrate.

A method of operating an emanation system, comprising the steps of:
- attaching a substrate to a surface, the substrate including a first substrate having a front surface and a secondary substrate that is flush with the front surface;
- aligning a nozzle of a dispensing device containing an air treatment material with the substrate;
- and
- actuating the dispensing device to spray an amount of the air treatment material onto at least a portion of the substrate,
- wherein the secondary substrate is positioned to catch run-off from the amount of air treatment material sprayed onto the substrate, and
- wherein the air treatment material passively emanates from the first substrate at a first release rate, and passively emanates from the secondary substrate at a second release rate different from the first release rate.
