Medical adherence device

A medical adherence docking system comprises:

• a sharps bin;
• and
• a docking station, the docking station configured to position the sharps bin within and comprising a base section support a lateral section, the lateral section supporting an arm section, the base section configured to receive and securely support a bottom portion of the sharps bin;
• and
• the arm section including a channel leading from an upper portion to a lower portion having a sensor located in the channel between the upper and lower portion, the channel adapted to receive a medical waste product and record patient adherence information about the medical waste product using the sensor before the medical waste product exits the lower portion and into the sharps bin, the patient adherence information transmitted to a patient's cloud-based clinical record and to communicate with the patient.
