Abstract
A method performed by a network node for determining a beam to direct a signal to be transmitted from the network node to a user equipment in a wireless communications network. The network node obtains (302) information related to a sequence of beams associated with the user equipment. The network node further determines (304) the beam based on the information related to the sequence of beams.
Claims14
A method performed by a network node for determining a beam to direct a signal to be transmitted from the network node to a user equipment, which network node and which user equipment operate in a wireless communications network (100), the method comprising:
- obtaining information related to a sequence of beams associated with the user equipment,
- determining the beam based on the information related to the sequence of beams, wherein determining the beam comprises constraining any one or more out of a beam tracking and a beam reporting, to a set of determined beams based on the information related to the sequence of beam, and
- directing and transmitting, to the user equipment, the signal based on the determined beam.
A network node for determining a beam to direct a signal to be transmitted from the network node to a user equipment, which network node and which user equipment are configured to operate in a wireless communications network, the network node being configured to:
- obtain information related to a sequence of beams associated with the user equipment,
- determine the beam based on the information related to the sequence of beams, wherein determining the beam comprises constraining any one or more out of a beam tracking and a beam reporting, to a set of determined beams based on the information related to the sequence of beams, and
- direct and transmit, to the user equipment, the signal based on the determined beam.
