System and method for providing a shared audio experience

A system for providing a shared audio experience, comprising:

• a memory storing instructions when executed by a processor cause the processor to:
• receive data associated with at least one audio stream, wherein a sound wave is generated from the at least one audio stream;
• analyze the sound wave associated with the at least one audio stream;
• determine a plurality of audio frequencies associated with the at least one audio stream based on the analysis of the sound wave;
• determine a plurality of audio elements associated with each of the plurality of audio frequencies associated with the at least one audio stream;
• determine at least one audio source to provide audio associated with each of the plurality of audio elements;
• and
• control the at least one audio source to provide the audio associated with each of the plurality of audio elements, wherein the at least one audio source is at least one of:
• at least one speaker of a vehicle and a speaker system of a portable device.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions that when executed by a computer, which includes a processor perform a method, the method comprising:

• receiving data associated with at least one audio stream, wherein a sound wave is generated from the at least one audio stream;
• analyzing the sound wave associated with the at least one audio stream;
• determining a plurality of audio frequencies associated with the at least one audio stream based on the analysis of the sound wave;
• determining a plurality of audio elements associated with each of the plurality of audio frequencies associated with the at least one audio stream;
• determining at least one audio source to provide audio associated with each of the plurality of audio elements;
• and
• controlling the at least one audio source to provide the audio associated with each of the plurality of audio elements, wherein the at least one audio source is at least one of:
• at least one speaker of a vehicle and a speaker system of a portable device.
