Methods and systems for providing on-demand services through the use of portable computing devices

A method for controlling locations associated with mobile computing devices from a static location associated with a viewer computing device through an on-demand service, the method being performed by one or more processors and comprising:

• determining, a current first streamer location of a first streamer computing device, the first streamer computing device being a mobile computing device with a camera to record multimedia;
• determining landmark location data associated with an online interface, the landmark location data being associated with a unique page of the online interface;
• receiving, at a logic server, a request for a first streaming service associated with landmark location data;
• providing, on a display of the viewer computing device, the unique page of the online interface;
• determining if the current first streamer location associated with the first streamer computing device is within a proximity threshold of the landmark location data based on the landmark location data associated with the unique page of the online interface and the current first streamer location;
• assigning a first score to the current first streamer based on the landmark location data associated with the unique page of the online interface and the current first streamer location;
• assigning a second score to a second streamer based on the landmark location data associated with the unique page of the online interface and a second location associated with the second streamer;
• transmitting a streaming request to the current first streamer responsive to determining that the first score is greater than the second score;
• providing, within the unique page of the online interface on the display of the viewer computing device, a selection feature being associated with a point-of-view streaming service captured by the first streamer computing device, wherein the selection feature is associated with a point-of-view streaming service option that is available by request by the viewer computing device from the current first streamer location.
