Abstract
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), a buffer status report (BSR) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: triggering, by a medium access control (MAC) entity, a buffer status report (BSR); and transmitting the buffer status report, wherein the buffer status report includes a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) buffer size for a radio bearer only if PDCP BSR condition is met.
Claims10
A method for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), a buffer status report (BSR) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- triggering, by a medium access control (MAC) entity, a first BSR and a second BSR;
- and
- generating a signal for the first BSR;
- when a second BSR condition is met:
- generating a signal for the second BSR by setting a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) buffer size;
- and
- transmitting both of the signal for the first BSR and the signal for the second BSR;
- and
- when the second BSR condition is not met, skipping generation of the signal for the second BSR and transmitting only the signal for the first BSR.
A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- a transmitter configured to transmit signals to a network;
- a receiver configured to receive the signals from the network;
- and
- a processor configured to process the signals,
- wherein the processor is configured to:
- trigger, by a medium access control (MAC) entity, a first buffer status report (BSR) and a second BSR;
- generate a signal for the first BSR;
- when a second BSR condition is met:
- generate a signal for the second BSR by setting a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) buffer size;
- and
- transmit both of the signal for the first BSR and the signal for the second BSR;
- and
- when the second BSR condition is not met, skip generation of the signal for the second BSR and transmit only the signal for the first BSR.
