Apparatuses and methods for configurable memory array bank architectures

A method, comprising:

• programming a value in a mode register of a memory for operands corresponding to one bank architecture selected from a set of three bank architectures, wherein each bank architecture of the set comprises a plurality of memory banks of the memory arranged according to the bank architecture selected by the value programmed in the mode register, wherein the value is programmed in the mode register of the memory for operands corresponding to the bank architecture selected for a first frequency set point;
• programming a value in the mode register of the memory for operands corresponding to the bank architecture selected for a second frequency set point;
• and
• providing a read/write command to the memory to access the plurality of memory banks according to the bank architecture, wherein behavior of the memory resulting from the read/write command depends at least in part on the selected bank architecture.
