Abstract
FGR (feline Gardner-Rasheed sarcoma viral oncogene homolog) fusions are described herein. Further provided are methods of diagnosing and treating diseases or disorders associated with FGR fusions, such as conditions mediated by FGR aberrant activity, or overexpression.
Claims9
A method of detecting in a patient a WASF2:FGR gene fusion, said method comprising:
- a) contacting a biological sample from the patient with an oligonucleotide that hybridizes to or amplifies the WASF2:FGR gene fusion of SEQ ID NO:1 or a portion thereof comprising a fusion junction;
- and
- b) detecting binding between the WASF2:FGR gene fusion and the oligonucleotide or amplification of the WASF2:FGR gene fusion.
