Abstract
The invention relates to a temperature-stable solution consisting of a) 0.1-10% by weight of at least one hexamidine salt, b) 40-95% by weight of an alkanediol having a C3 to C5 carbon chain and a C log P of −0.2 to −1.1, c) 5-60% by weight of water and d) one or more additives to adjust the pH of the solution to 3.0 to 6.0 inclusive, wherein the total amount of components a) to d) is 100% by weight.

A temperature-stable solution comprising:
- a) 0.1-10% by weight of at least one hexamidine salt;
- b) 40-95% by weight of an alkanediol having a C3 to C5 carbon chain and a C log P of −0.2 to 1.1;
- c) 5-60% by weight of water;
- and
- d) one or more additives for adjusting the pH of the solution from 3.0 to 6.0 inclusive,
- wherein the total amount of components a) to d) is 100% by weight.
