Animal trap

An animal trap, comprising:

• a first portion having an upper end and a lower end;
• a second portion in sliding relationship with the first portion, wherein the first and second portions are relatively positionable between a cocked position and a deployed position;
• a biasing mechanism configured to bias the first and second portions towards the deployed position;
• a trigger mechanism configured to selectively lock the first and second portions in the cocked position;
• and
• an end unit removably coupled to the lower end of the first portion, the end unit comprising:
• a base;
• at least two unique members extending from a bottom end of the base;
• and
• a bottom portion coupled to a distal end of each of the unique members,
• wherein a first end of each of the unique members is coupled to the base, wherein each of the distal ends are at a second end of each of the unique members, wherein the second end is opposite the first end along a longitudinal length of each of the unique members,
• wherein each of the unique members are resiliently deformable, wherein each of the unique members are more flexible along a respective single plane than along other planes.
