Abstract
A plug door opening-closing apparatus, which is adapted for use with a vehicle having a vehicle front-rear direction and a vehicle width direction, includes a door hanger configured to be coupled to a door panel of the vehicle, a movable guide configured to guide movement of the door hanger in the front-rear direction and move in the width direction, a guide support member that guides movement of the movable guide in the width direction, and an interlock mechanism mechanically connected to the movable guide.
Claims7
A door driving mechanism comprising:
- a threaded shaft extending in a vehicle front-rear direction;
- a nut engaged with the threaded shaft to move a door hanger and a door in the front-rear direction;
- and
- a motor incorporating the nut which rotates the nut and moves in the front-rear direction together with the nut which moves the door hanger and door when activated,
- wherein the threaded shaft is configured to move together with the motor, and the nut and the door in a vehicle width direction that intersects with or is orthogonal to the front-rear direction.
