Electrical distribution apparatus and methods of assembling same

An electrical distribution apparatus comprising:

• an enclosure comprising a plurality of panels cooperatively defining an interior volume;
• a bus bar assembly comprising a first surface;
• a backplane coupled to said bus bar assembly, said backplane comprising a second surface;
• a frame coupled to said enclosure, wherein said backplane is coupled to said frame;
• a plurality of engagement features that couple said bus bar assembly to said backplane, wherein said plurality of engagement features extend from at least one of said first surface and said second surface;
• and
• a plurality of openings receiving said plurality of engagement features, wherein said plurality of openings are defined by at least one of said first surface and said second surface, said plurality of openings comprising at least one slot that extends in a longitudinal direction of said backplane when said bus bar assembly is coupled to said backplane;
• wherein said bus bar assembly, frame, and backplane are disposed within said enclosure interior volume;
• and
• wherein said plurality of engagement features comprises at least one hook and at least one stop extending through the plurality of openings.
