Abstract
A solid-state imaging apparatus includes: a solid-state imaging device photoelectrically converting light taken by a lens; and a light shielding member shielding part of light incident on the solid-state imaging device from the lens, wherein an angle made between an edge surface of the light shielding member and an optical axis direction of the lens is larger than an incident angle of light to be incident on an edge portion of the light shielding member.

An imaging apparatus, comprising:
- a lens having an optical axis extending in a first direction;
- an image sensor having a light receiving surface arranged to receive first rays of light from the lens;
- at least one conductor arranged to electrically connect to the image sensor;
- and
- a light shield arranged between the lens and the image sensor to prevent second rays of light from the lens from reaching the light receiving surface of the image sensor while allowing the first rays of light to reach the light receiving surface of image sensor, wherein, in a cross-sectional view:
- at least a portion of the light shield is disposed above the at least one conductor;
- a first side surface of the light shield is located on a first side of the optical axis and includes a first flat portion that forms a first acute angle relative to the first direction;
- an upper surface of the light shield includes a second flat portion that forms a first obtuse angle relative to the first direction;
- and
- a lower surface of the light shield includes a third flat portion that forms a second obtuse angle relative to the first direction.
An imaging apparatus, comprising:
- a lens having an optical axis extending in a first direction;
- an image sensor having a light receiving surface arranged to receive first rays of light from the lens;
- at least one conductor arranged to electrically connect to the image sensor;
- and
- a light shield arranged between the lens and the image sensor to prevent second rays of light from the lens from reaching the light receiving surface of the image sensor while allowing the first rays of light to reach the light receiving surface of image sensor, wherein, in a cross-sectional view:
- at least a portion of the light shield is disposed above the at least one conductor;
- an upper surface of the light shield includes a first flat portion that forms a first obtuse angle relative to the first direction;
- a lower surface of the light shield includes a second flat portion that forms a second obtuse angle relative to the first direction;
- and
- a side surface of the light shield faces the image sensor.
An imaging apparatus, comprising:
- a lens having an optical axis extending in a first direction;
- an image sensor having a light receiving surface arranged to receive first rays of light from the lens, the first direction being from the lens to the image sensor;
- at least one conductor arranged to electrically connect to the image sensor;
- and
- a light shield arranged between the lens and the image sensor to prevent second rays of light from the lens from reaching the light receiving surface of the image sensor while allowing the first rays of light to reach the light receiving surface of image sensor, wherein, in a cross-sectional view:
- at least a portion of the light shield is disposed above the at least one conductor;
- an upper surface of the light shield has a first point and a second point, the first point is positioned closer to the lens than the second point;
- a first line extending from the first point to the second point forms a first acute angle relative to the first direction;
- a first side surface of the light shield has a third point and a fourth point, the third point is positioned closer to the lens than the fourth point;
- a second line extending from the fourth point to the third point forms a first obtuse angle relative to the first direction;
- a lower surface of the light shield has a fifth point and a sixth point, the sixth point is positioned closer to the lens than the fifth point;
- and
- a third line extending from the sixth point to the fifth point forms a second acute angle relative to the first direction.
An imaging apparatus, comprising:
- a lens having an optical axis extending in a first direction;
- an image sensor having a light receiving surface arranged to receive first rays of light from the lens, the first direction being from the lens to the image sensor;
- at least one conductor arranged to electrically connect to the image sensor;
