Abstract
A kitchen workspace and a method of organizing a kitchen workspace is set forth. The kitchen workspace is consolidated into a small footprint area with automated vertical storage shelves for storing and housing kitchen items and kitchen appliances. The automated storage shelves may be provided with electrical power for powering kitchen appliances found on the shelves. Kitchen appliances may be rotated around the automated storage shelves while the appliances are being used. One or more food cooking devices above a sink are able to be moved while being fixed to a kitchen wall.
Claims20
A kitchen workspace comprising:
- a sink;
- one or more food cooking devices attached to a movable fixture accessed above the sink,
- the movable fixture comprising a plurality of vertically stacked automated shelves having alternating depths front to back attached to a continuous rotating drive system comprising upper and lower pulleys, wherein the alternating depths allow the shelves to rotate around the respective pulleys without binding;
- wherein the one or more food cooking devices are operationally functional while rotating the drive system.
A method of organizing a kitchen workspace, the method comprising:
- providing a sink;
- providing one or more moveable food cooking devices being attached to a moveable fixture accessed above the sink;
- the movable fixture comprising a plurality of vertically stacked automated shelves having alternating depths front to back attached to a continuous rotating drive system comprising upper and lower pulleys, wherein the alternating depths allow the shelves to rotate around the respective pulleys without binding;
- wherein the one or more food cooking devices are operationally functional while rotating the drive system.
