Abstract
A patch including: a support; and an adhesive layer disposed on at least one surface of the support, in which the adhesive layer includes: at least one selected from the group consisting of butorphanol and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; a higher aliphatic alcohol; and a non-cross-linking polyvinylpyrrolidone that does not contain vinyl acetate as a constituent monomer thereof.
Claims9
A patch, comprising:
- a support;
- and
- an adhesive layer disposed on at least one surface of the support,
- wherein the adhesive layer comprises a higher aliphatic alcohol having 12 to 20 carbon atoms, a non-cross-linking polyvinylpyrrolidone that does not contain vinyl acetate as a constituent monomer, and at least one of butorphanol and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
- wherein the content of the higher aliphatic alcohol is in a range of 3 to 25% by mass based on the total mass of the adhesive layer, the content of the butorphanol and/or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is 4 to 20% by mass based on the total mass of the adhesive layer, the content of the non-cross-linking polyvinylpyrrolidone is in a range of 4 to 20% by mass based on the total mass of the adhesive layer, the non-cross-linking polyvinylpyrrolidone has a K value in a range of 10 to 30;
- and wherein precipitation of crystals derived from the butorphanol and/or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is suppressed.
