Disclosed are compositions and methods for their use that include a combination of hydrolyzed algin, escin, Ruscus aculeatus root extract, ammonium glycyrrhizate, Centella asiatica extract, hydrolyzed yeast protein, and Calendula officinalis flower extract.

A method of treating erythemic skin of a human in need thereof, the method comprising topically applying to the erythemic skin of said human in need thereof a composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of:
- (a) hydrolyzed algin;
- (b) escin;
- (c) Ruscus aculeatus root extract;
- (d) ammonium glycyrrhizate;
- (e) Centella asiatica extract;
- (f) hydrolyzed yeast protein;
- and
- (g) Calendula officinalis flower extract.
