Provided is a machine tool including: a bed; a work-table which is provided to the bed; a moving device provided to the bed; a spindle head provided to the moving device; at least a vertical main spindle provided to the spindle head, the vertical main spindle extending in the vertical direction; and at least a horizontal main spindle provided to the spindle head, the horizontal main spindle extending in a horizontal direction.
Claims21
A machine tool comprising:
- a bed;
- a work-table provided to the bed;
- a moving device provided to the bed;
- a spindle head provided to the moving device and movable in a plurality of directions;
- a vertical main spindle mounted to the spindle head and movable with the spindle head, the vertical main spindle extending in the vertical direction, the vertical main spindle configured to set a first tool;
- and
- a horizontal main spindle mounted to the spindle head at a fixed location relative to the vertical main spindle and movable with the spindle head and the vertical main spindle, the horizontal main spindle extending in the horizontal direction, the horizontal main spindle configured to set a second tool.
