Abstract
A system for folding and deploying liners within tunnels includes a mobile conveyor device having a base frame including a plurality of wheels supporting a support frame. The mobile conveyor device also includes a folding assembly mounted upon the support frame at a position adjacent a first end of the base frame and a conveyor assembly mounted upon the support frame at a position adjacent a second end of the base frame.
Claims2
A system for folding and deploying liners within tunnels, comprising:
- a mobile conveyor device including:
- a base frame including a plurality of wheels, the base frame supporting a support frame;
- a folding assembly mounted upon the support frame at a position adjacent a first end of the base frame, the folding assembly includes first and second folding members supported upon a platform member, each of the first and second folding members is an arcuate member and includes a lower longitudinal edge, an upper longitudinal edge, a first edge extending between the lower longitudinal edge and an upper longitudinal edge, and a second edge extending between the lower longitudinal edge and an upper longitudinal edge, wherein the first edge and the second edge exhibit different curvatures and lengths;
- and
- a conveyor assembly including a motor powered belt conveyor mounted upon the support frame at a position adjacent a second end of the base frame.
