Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel method for preparing triazenes. Further, the invention relates to novel triazenes and the use of N2O for preparing a compound comprising a triazene group. Further, the invention relates to the use of the novel triazenes as a medicament, in particular in the treatment of cancer.

A method for preparing a triazene according to Formula (I)
- comprising reacting a compound according to Formula (II)
- R1R2N(N2O)M1 Formula (II)
- with a compound according to Formula (III)
- R3M2 Formula (III)
- wherein
- R1 and R2 independently are an organic residue
- R3 is an organic residue,
- M1 is a metal or metal compound, and
- M2 is a metal or metal compound.
