Compensating amplifier phase in a diversity receiver front end

A method for phase-shifting signals in a receiving system, the method comprising:

• receiving a band select signal indicating one or more frequency bands;
• activating one or more of a plurality of paths through the receiving system based on the band select signal, the plurality of paths including a first path corresponding to a first frequency band and a second path corresponding to a second frequency band;
• sending a tuning signal to a first phase-shifting component on the first path and to a second phase-shifting component on the second path;
• and
• phase-shifting the second frequency band of a signal passing through the first phase-shift component using the first phase-shifting component, a phase-shift at the second frequency band of the first phase-shifting component based on a phase-shift caused by one or more components on the first path at the second frequency band.
