Coexistence over a shared band with dual antenna sharing

An apparatus for wireless communication at a wireless device comprising a plurality of antennas, comprising:

• a processor;
• memory in electronic communication with the processor;
• and
• instructions stored in the memory and operable, when executed by the processor, to cause the apparatus to:
• receive a wireless local area network (WLAN) scanning parameter at a WLAN modem of the wireless device from a cellular modem of the wireless device, wherein the WLAN modem is associated with a WLAN network and the cellular modem is associated with a cellular network;
• modify a distribution of the plurality of antennas between the WLAN modem and the cellular modem based at least in part on the WLAN scanning parameter, wherein the WLAN scanning parameter comprises a duty cycle associated with a previous WLAN scan by the WLAN modem;
• and
• perform, by the WLAN modem, a WLAN scan on channels in a band that is shared by the WLAN modem and the cellular modem based at least in part on the distribution of the plurality of antennas.
