Transformation and presentation of on-demand native application crawling results

A method comprising:

• receiving, by a transceiver of a system, a query from a mobile device using a communication interface circuit of the system;
• generating, by a processor, search results of mobile applications in a first format by searching the mobile applications based on the query using a search engine of the system, wherein the first format is a native format of an operating system of the mobile device;
• generating, by the processor, the search results of the mobile applications in the first format;
• converting, by the processor, the search results of the mobile applications into a second format, wherein the second format is a platform-neutral format;
• processing, by the processor, the search results of the mobile applications in the second format to generate a presentation of the search results of the mobile applications in the second format, wherein processing the search results of the mobile applications in the second format includes scraping data from the search results of the mobile applications in the second format;
• determining, by the processor, whether the presentation can be rendered in a third format on the mobile device;
• in response to having determined that the presentation can be rendered in the third format on the mobile device, converting, by the processor, the presentation into the third format for rendering on the mobile device;
• and
• in response to having determined that the presentation cannot be rendered in the third format on the mobile device, converting, by the processor, the presentation into the first format for rendering on the mobile device.
