Storage device, storage system, and method of controlling storage device

A storage system, comprising:

• a control device configured to specify a first write position of data by a write address;
• a data area that comprises the first write position, wherein the first write position is specified based on the write address;
• and
• a control unit configured to:
• write the data in the first write position based on the first write position that is specified by the write address,
• update a write destination flag, wherein the updated write destination flag indicates whether the write address is at least one of a general write address or an alternative write address,
• generate the alternative write address based on the updated write destination flag that indicates that the write address is the alternative write address, wherein the alternative write address is different from the general write address, and
• write the data in a second write position specified by the alternative write address based on a data writing operation that is unsuccessful.

A method, comprising:

• writing of data in a first write position, wherein the first write position is specified by a write address;
• updating a write destination flag, wherein the updated write destination flag indicates whether the write address is at least one of a general write address or an alternative write address;
• generating the alternative write address based on the updated write destination flag that indicates that the write address is the alternative write address, wherein the alternative write address is different from the general write address;
• and
• writing the data in a second write position specified by the alternative write address based on a data writing operation of the data that is unsuccessful.
