Systems and methods for forming share bars including collections of content items

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium including a set of instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computing device to:

• display, on a display interface of a user device, a first content item from a collection of content items in full screen mode;
• detect a first touch gesture with respect to the first content item;
• if a direction of the first touch gesture is in a first direction, in response to the first touch gesture:
• display a share bar overlapping a portion of the first content item;
• and
• add a thumbnail of the first content item to the share bar without modifying the first content item;
• if the direction of the first touch gesture is in a second direction opposite the first direction, in response to the first touch gesture:
• remove the first content item from the collection of content items without modifying the first content item;
• and
• replace the first content item with a second content item displayed in full screen mode;
• and
• provide a share option within the share bar by generating a link that enables the user to share content items having corresponding thumbnails within the share bar with at least one contact of the user.

A user device, comprising:

• a display screen;
• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium including a set of instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the user device to:
• display, on a display interface on the display screen, a first content item from a collection of content items in full screen mode;
• detect a first touch gesture with respect to the first content item;
• if a direction of the first touch gesture is in a first direction, in response to the first touch gesture:
• display a share bar overlapping a portion of the first content item;
• and
• add a thumbnail of the first content item to the share bar without modifying the first content item;
• if the direction of the first touch gesture is in a second direction opposite the first direction, in response to the first touch gesture:
• remove the first content item from the collection of content items without modifying the first content item;
• and
• replace the first content item with a second content item displayed in full screen mode;
• and
• provide a share option within the share bar by generating a link that enables the user to share content items having corresponding thumbnails within the share bar with at least one contact of the user.
