Abstract
A display device includes a display panel mounted on a curved surface, and driver circuits including circuit elements which are mounted on a plurality of plane surfaces provided on the back of the curved surface in a stepwise shape along the curved surface.
Claims34
A display device comprising:
- a base whose outer surface has a curved surface;
- a display panel mounted along the curved surface, wherein the display panel includes a display element including an electrode;
- a plurality of electronic circuit boards provided on an inner surface of the base so as to have steps whose heights are increased from a central portion of the base toward an outer region of the base;
- a wiring member electrically connecting the plurality of electronic circuit boards;
- and
- a metal film between the display panel and the plurality of electronic circuit boards, the metal film being a shielding film,
- wherein the display panel is connected to one of the plurality of electronic circuit boards at a side surface portion of the base,
- wherein the display panel is in contact with the curved surface so that the display element including the electrode overlaps with the curved surface, and
- wherein the base is located between the display element including the electrode and the plurality of electronic circuit boards.

- wherein the base is located between the display element including the electrode and the plurality of electronic circuit boards.

- wherein the base is located between the display element including the electrode and the first electronic circuit board and between the display element including the electrode and the second electronic circuit board.

- a flexible display panel over the base, the flexible display panel including a curved display portion;
- a touch panel over the flexible display panel;
- a printed board electrically connected to the touch panel through a through hole of the base;

- a battery located in a concave portion of the base and in a concave portion of the flexible display panel,
- wherein the touch panel includes a curved region that overlaps with the curved display portion,
- wherein the flexible display panel includes an electroluminescence element, and
- wherein the flexible display panel overlaps with the through hole.
