Universal height absorbing toilet seal

A toilet seal, comprising:

• a flange member having an inwardly extending flexible lip, the flange member having
• a flexible sleeve extending downwardly,
• an annular portion extending downwardly and disposed radially outward from the flexible sleeve, wherein a lower surface of the flange member, the annular portion and the sleeve cooperate to define a cavity, and
• a plurality of tabs extending outwardly of the annular portion, the tabs each including an opening disposed radially outward of the annular portion and operable to receive a fastener to secure the toilet seal to a toilet flange;
• and
• a compressible member sized to fit within the cavity and proximal to the lower surface of the flange member, an outer diameter of the compressible member being smaller than a diameter between the openings of the tabs of the flange member.
