Abstract
The present invention inter alia relates to an apparatus and a method. The apparatus comprises a body part and a cover part, wherein the body part and the cover part are configured to at least partially form a fluid channel between a surface of the body part and a surface of the cover part. The surfaces of the body part and the cover part may be facing surfaces. The method comprises manufacturing the apparatus according to the present invention.
Claims33
A medical device configured to eject a medicament, the medical device comprising:
- a body part;
- a first piercing needle;
- a second piercing needle;
- and
- a cover part;
- said body part comprising:
- a recess;
- and
- a first body part reservoir and a second body part reservoir;
- wherein said body part and said cover part are configured to at least partially form a fluid channel between a surface of said body part and a surface of said cover part,
- wherein said first piercing needle is in fluid communication with said first body part reservoir;
- wherein said second piercing needle is in fluid communication with said second body part reservoir;
- wherein said fluid channel provides a fluid connection from said first body part reservoir and/or said second body part reservoir to said recess, and
- wherein said surfaces of said body part and said cover part are vertically oriented such that at least part of these surfaces is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the medical device.
A dispense interface attachable to a medical device configured to eject a medicament, the dispense interface comprising:
- a body part;
- a first piercing needle;
- a second piercing needle;
- and
- a cover part;
- said body part comprising:
- a recess;
- and
- a first body part reservoir and a second body part reservoir;
- wherein said body part and said cover part are configured to at least partially form a fluid channel between a surface of said body part and a surface of said cover part,
- wherein said first piercing needle is in fluid communication with said first body part reservoir;
- wherein said second piercing needle is in fluid communication with said second body part reservoir;
- wherein said fluid channel provides a fluid connection from said first body part reservoir and/or said second body part reservoir to said recess, and
- wherein said surfaces of said body part and said cover part are vertically oriented such that at least part of these surfaces is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the dispense interface.
