An isolated and purified DNA sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) the sequence DNA presented in FIG. 1 (SEQ ID NO:
- 1);
- (b) a derivative of the sequence DNA of (a), wherein the derivative comprises at least nucleotides 1787 to 2242 of SEQ ID NO:
- 1;
- and
- (c) a fragment of the sequence DNA of (a), wherein the fragment comprises at least nucleotides 1787 to 2242 of SEQ ID NO:
- 1;
- wherein said DNA sequence possesses transcriptional promoter activity.
