Abstract
There is provided a parking assist system. A motor drives a front wheel. A motor control device controls an output of the motor. A changeover switch changes over a control mode for the motor to an assist mode different from a normal traveling mode. The motor control device is configured to control the output of the motor depending on operation of the changeover switch at the assist mode.
Claims4
A parking assist system, comprising:
- a motor configured to drive a front wheel;
- a motor control device configured to control an output of the motor;
- and
- a changeover switch configured to change over a control mode for the motor to an assist mode different from a normal traveling mode,
- wherein the motor control device is configured to control the output of the motor depending on operation of the changeover switch at the assist mode,
- wherein the parking assist system is used in a vehicle having a center stand configured to support the vehicle while floating a rear wheel thereof and further comprises a center stand position detection unit configured to detect a position of the center stand, and
- wherein the motor control device is configured to control the output of the motor depending on the detected position result of the center stand position detection unit.
