Abstract
Multi-layer display of content on a flexible display is provided. A roll profile of a rolled transparent flexible display is detected, the rolled transparent flexible display forming a plurality of overlapping display layers of the transparent flexible display. Content is then displayed on the plurality of overlapping display layers, where different portions of the content are displayed on different display layers of the plurality of display layers to present the content as three-dimensional content.
Claims16
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- based on a user selection of content for display, analyzing the content and determining a recommended number of overlapping display layers, of a transparent flexible display, on which the content is to be displayed;
- determining a recommended roll profile for the transparent flexible display based on the recommended number of overlapping display layers on which the content is to be displayed, the recommended roll profile indicating a curvature of the transparent flexible display to achieve the recommended number of display layers;
- indicating to the user the recommended roll profile for the transparent flexible display;
- detecting a roll profile of the transparent flexible display, the transparent flexible display being rolled, and the rolled transparent flexible display forming a plurality of overlapping display layers of the transparent flexible display;
- and
- displaying the content on the plurality of overlapping display layers, wherein different portions of the content are displayed on different display layers of the plurality of display layers to present the content as three-dimensional content.

- a processor in communication with the memory, wherein the computer system is configured to perform a method, the method comprising:
- based on a user selection of content for display, analyzing the content and determining a recommended number of overlapping display layers, of a transparent flexible display, on which the content is to be displayed;
- determining a recommended roll profile for the transparent flexible display based on the recommended number of overlapping display layers on which the content is to be displayed, the recommended roll profile indicating a curvature of the transparent flexible display to achieve the recommended number of display layers;

- detecting a roll profile of the transparent flexible display, the transparent flexible display being rolled, and the rolled transparent flexible display forming a plurality of overlapping display layers of the transparent flexible display;

- displaying the content on the plurality of overlapping display layers, wherein different portions of the content are displayed on different display layers of the plurality of display layers to present the content as three-dimensional content.

- a non-transitory computer readable storage medium readable by a processor and storing instructions for execution by the processor for performing a method comprising:
- based on a user selection of content for display, analyzing the content and determining a recommended number of overlapping display layers, of a transparent flexible display, on which the content is to be displayed;
