Abstract
Systems, methods, and computer program products to perform an operation comprising determining a charge level of a battery of a mobile device, and responsive to determining that the charge level is below a minimum threshold, selecting a first data object from a plurality of data objects stored on the mobile device based on predefined criteria, outputting the first data object on a persistent display device of the mobile device, and powering off the mobile device, wherein the first data object remains visible on the persistent display after the mobile device powers off.
Claims18
A method, comprising:
- determining a charge level of a battery of a mobile device;
- and
- responsive to determining that the charge level is below a minimum threshold:
- selecting a first data object from a plurality of data objects stored on the mobile device based on:
- (i) determining that the first data object is not accessible via a plurality of other devices within a predefined distance of the mobile device, (ii) an access history of each of the plurality of data objects on the mobile device, (iii) a set of applications currently executing on the mobile device;
- outputting the first data object on a persistent display device of the mobile device;
- and
- powering off the mobile device, wherein the first data object remains visible on the persistent display after the mobile device powers off.
A computer program product, comprising:
- a computer-readable storage medium having computer readable program code embodied therewith, the computer readable program code executable by a processor to perform an operation comprising:
- determining a charge level of a battery of a mobile device;
- and
- responsive to determining that the charge level is below a minimum threshold:
- selecting a first data object from a plurality of data objects stored on the mobile device based on:
- (i) determining that the first data object is not accessible via a plurality of other devices within a predefined distance of the mobile device, (ii) an access history of each of the plurality of data objects on the mobile device, (iii) a set of applications currently executing on the mobile device;
- outputting the first data object on a persistent display device of the mobile device;
- and
- powering off the mobile device, wherein the first data object remains visible on the persistent display after the mobile device powers off.
A system, comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory storing one or more instructions which, when executed by the processor, performs an operation comprising:
- determining a charge level of a battery of a mobile device;
- and
- responsive to determining that the charge level is below a minimum threshold:
- selecting a first data object from a plurality of data objects stored on the mobile device based on:
- (i) determining that the first data object is not accessible via a plurality of other devices within a predefined distance of the mobile device, (ii) an access history of each of the plurality of data objects on the mobile device, (iii) a set of applications currently executing on the mobile device;
- outputting the first data object on a persistent display device of the mobile device;
- and
- powering off the mobile device, wherein the first data object remains visible on the persistent display after the mobile device powers off.
