Abstract
Disclosed is a touch window including a sensing electrode to sense a position, and a wire to electrically connect the sensing electrode. A width of the sensing electrode is variable in the sensing electrode.
Claims20
A touch window comprising:
- a substrate;
- a plurality of sensing electrodes on the substrate;
- and
- at least one wire to electrically connect to a first one of the sensing electrodes on the substrate,
- wherein the wire includes:
- an electrode pad at one end of the wire connected to a printed circuit board;
- and
- a wire pad at another end of the wire connected to the first one of the sensing electrodes,
- wherein the first one of the plurality of sensing electrodes includes a first mesh line and a second mesh line, wherein the first mesh line physically contacts the wire pad, and the second mesh line physically contacts the wire pad,
- wherein the first mesh line has a first sensing part and a second sensing part, wherein the second sensing part of the first mesh line physically contacts the wire pad,
- wherein a first width of the second sensing part of the first mesh line in a direction parallel to the wire pad is different from a second width of the first sensing part of the first mesh line.

A touch device comprising:
- a display panel;
- and
- a touch window on the display panel;
- wherein the display panel includes:
- a first substrate;
- a thin film transistor on the first substrate;
- and
- an organic light emitting device on the thin film transistor,
- wherein the touch window includes:
- a substrate;
- a plurality of sensing electrodes on the substrate;
- and
- at least one wire to electrically connect to a first one of the sensing electrodes on the substrate, and
- wherein the wire includes:
- an electrode pad at one end of the wire connected to a printed circuit board;
- and
- a wire pad at another end of the wire connected to the first one of the sensing electrodes,
- wherein the first one of the plurality of sensing electrodes includes a first mesh line and a second mesh line, wherein the first mesh line physically contacts the wire pad, and the second mesh line physically contacts the wire pad,
- wherein the first mesh line has a first sensing part and a second sensing part, wherein the second sensing part of the first mesh line physically contacts the wire pad,
- wherein a first width of the second sensing part of the first mesh line in a direction parallel to the wire pad is different from a second width of the first sensing part of the first mesh line, and
- wherein the substrate is an encapsulation substrate.
