Abstract
A method for measuring at least one signal with a digital oscilloscope according to the invention acquires sampled values of the at least one signal in individual time ranges which are each defined in relation to a trigger time of a trigger event, which is detected in the at least one signal in each case by the digital oscilloscope. A post-processing of the sampled values acquired in each case in the individual time ranges then takes place. According to the invention, the acquisition and the post-processing are implemented in parallel.
Claims8
A digital oscilloscope with an acquisition unit and a downstream signal post-processing unit,
- wherein, the acquisition unit and the signal post-processing unit are configured to operate in parallel on a signal during a time segment, the acquisition unit to operate on a second portion of the signal during the time segment and the signal post-processing unit to operate on a first portion of the signal during the time segment;
- wherein a buffer with two storage regions is connected between the acquisition unit and the signal post-processing unit;
- and
- wherein in alternation, the one storage region is connected to the acquisition unit and the respectively different storage region is connected to the signal post-processing unit.
