Abstract
This invention describes the methodology to produce solid heterogeneous chiral organocatalysts that can be used in condensation reactions. The catalysts can be recovered in a simple manner by filtration and can also be reused.

A compound of formula (I):
- —[O—Si—C3H6—NH—R1—OCO—(CNH)—R2—R2′]X—[O—Si]Y— Formula (I),
- wherein R1 is an aliphatic chain of the formula —(CH2)n—;
- n represents an integer of 0 to 9;
- X and Y have a proportion of 1:1 to 1:20;
- and —OCO—(CNH)—R2—R2′ represents an α-amino acid selected from the group consisting of proline
- valine
- alanine
- phenylglycine
- phenylalanine
- leucine
- isoleucine
- and methionine
