Abstract
Crystalline polymorph forms of 2-(5-bromo-4-(4-cyclopropyl naphthalen-1-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthio)acetic acid are described. Pharmaceutical compositions and the uses of such compounds, compound forms, and compositions for the treatment of a variety of diseases and conditions are also presented.

A method for treating hyperuricemia associated with gout, comprising administering an effective amount of a crystalline polymorph of 2-(5-bromo-4-(4-cyclopropylnaphthalen-1-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthio)acetic acid:
- characterized by peaks at 10.46, 18.76, and 19.83 °2θ±0.1°2θ.
A method of treating hyperuricemia associated with gout, comprising administering an effective amount of a crystalline polymorph of 2-(5-bromo-4-(4-cyclopropylnaphthalen-1-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthio)acetic acid:
- characterized by peaks at 10.32, 18.84, and 20.75 °2θ±0.1°2θ.
